How often have I seen people fire at Tanks with HE or try to fire at positions with the Arty and then they still use AP! :) Well anyway, if anybody here has some time on his hands and likes to write down a few general FAQs then I will make sure that you will have them answered asap. :)
AP will take out arty positions. This is good if a person is anticipating a tank very shortly...
OK, I've got one more question (we really need that FAQ thread :P). Can you, as an engineer disable enemy teams mines? So far I have only managed to do that if I pick up an enemy engy kit first.

this only works with the british smokes they use white phosphor which causes chemical burns = damage 2 hits will kill
german smokes doesnt do any damage
Yeah, I know about the smoke nades. I've seen it happen 2 times now, and both times were teamkills :P

The kit limit is team specific. If you pickup an enemy MP, your enemy can still spawn with a new one. The one still being available on the ground does not hamper the enemy from getting a new one. That is even a reason that you will recognize the number of MPs increasing during a round. In the end of the round, you can observe a massive increase in availability of MPs. It is not only that everybody got one, but also the fact that you can see 80% of all kills being achieved by an MP or SMG close to the end of an infantry map.
So I assume then that it doesn't limit your own team's number of available SMGs when you pick up a dropped SMG (otherwise that increase would be impossible)?
