CamBotake snipers off of charlie. getting past the 5 mgs on the beach is hard enough.

I think they are great. Keep the "garand snipers" away while still not very easy to hit moving targets with (of course depending on the angle). I've yet been sniped like once in that map, and that time only because I sniping them (read: killing the machinegunners and enemy soldiers from the cliffs with Springfield sniper), staying still. It sure isn't easy to hit a fast moving soldier trying to avoid from being hit. The beach humpers? Well, they deserve to die for leaving the rest of the team as gunfood. This is the real problem in Omaha's, altough sniper kits are making it a little more minor in Charlie. How are those five soldiers dodging led sprays from eight machineguns supposed to get anywhere when rest of the team is humping the beach in the back of the map?!

I think the sniper kits are completely fine. No. They are awesome. A very small threat to assaulting troops, a huge one to newbies laying next to the landingcrafts on the beach trying to snipe the MGs.

Seriously, are you really saying you're getting killed by snipers while running zig-zag thru the beach? Which servers are you guys playing on?

These Stg are great weapons in that map.....just lie in ambush in the dunes well behind the dune edge firing down on allies that try the path up, or if a bunker is overrun somehow, cover the top entrance from a little distance so handgrenades being thrown out won't kill you.....allies will never get further then that, and BAR or sniperfire from the beach can't hit you behind the edge of the dunes.

Only artillery fire can get you out of ambush in the dunes, and give the allies a chance once they are up, and the allies in the FH version of D Day don't have any :lol: ......( while all available allied battleschips, cruisers and destroyers were there in the largest armada the world has ever seen )

I don't know if those many players whom i killed with the Stg were injured in their way across the beach allready, but they all fell like in 3 bullets.....no complaints about that weapon.

I wondered if a St Mere Eglise (?) map was planned, now FH has OpOv dev(s) aboard...? I'd also like to see a Cherbourg (from Utah) map as I was there just before the weekend...
