that map is surely a great infantry night map... but i want discuss something about that map (64p version)

it seemed the airfield is not very tactically important for Germans , afterall, the Germans could still ticket bleed the Brits by just holding the town itself...(the 3 flags)

it seemed airfield is not worth to invest some men there and defend it since the brits are more "mobile" than Germans...

and once the town is captured by brits, it's extremely unlikely for Germans to capture it back...

it would be nice if airfield play a more important role in that map...

Do you even understand how many planes there are on airfield? All those yellow stars are objects you need to defend for the Reich!

he is talking about the 64 player version, which is conquest. the objectives like planes and tanks are on the 32 players version, which is the same size.

btw, since some days we replaced the 64 conquest map with the 32 objective version in our mapcycle to check which one plays better with many players.

I think the strength of the Airfield as a target is that it's fairly easy to cap.

If the Brits are able to take flags in the village, it's a good idea to flank them and take the airfield. From there you can attack the station with some trucks.

We had a great round yesterday with 64 players. The Brits destroyed the last plane (which the whole German team had been defending for a long time) when they had maybe 10 tickets left. The Germans lost their spawn, but the remaining players were able to kill enough enemies to win. Objective > conquest

Yeah I totally agree with Moreke, the objective map is really much funnier than the objective one =p

Um yes? Je comprends rien. ;) I actually am having my problems with the objective one... I prefered the 64 map style. But that's a personal opinion.

Every map needs some noobtrap to bind forces where they are not needed. On Hyacinth it is the airfield. Otherwise the british would never win. It has been always like this.:p
