A previous post about the PzIII has give me the idea for this post, i think that is a important question to be resolved :) Well a little explanation, when i ask for quick&dirty in 0.65 i expect that a more refined and stateoftheart version can be included in later versions.

In terms of "fast", yes we need it in sooner rather than later. So that's how I voted. I know you're not talking about the speed of PZIII as an AFV. Even so, I can't resist the opportunity to beg that the PZIII is made to be fast in FH. Early versions of it were capable of doing 69 km/h easily outpacing T34 and even BT7. I know, that's road speed and doesn't take the narrower tracks into account as opposed to T34, but still. Later versions of PZIII were no snails either. I've read that PZ-IIIN version was adopted to run on railroad tracks and could reach speeds up to 100 km/h in that mode. http://www.achtungpanzer.com/pz8.htm That goes quite far into indicating, how much kick its engine packed relative to its weight. So make it fast in two different meanings ;) LaDigue (Kustjägare)

What difference does it make, they have already said Panzer III was not going to be in .65? An do you really expect a .7? Why do you keep beating a dead horse? Two versions of the tractor was more important than the Panzer III.

The Question is why so many Pz III Threads are opend , and the Reason is simple : In the Desert Maps you nearby got no chance against the Brits armour . Some of you may say : No you got a chance ; but his are the ppl with high skills . The average Guy like me simply cant take a Pz II and blow up a Sherman and 3 Crusaders with it , well need something that is close to equal or equal to have a chance. Its getting boring to see axis loosing constantly 75% of the desert battles If the Pz III got no priority on deset maps then please give the axis side something that is already in the game , a second Stuka or a 8.8cm on Tow would already help , also a captured Brit-Tank with Axis flags for their use is thinkable [and hopefully not too much work].
