This one is from the game "Panzers"

Such a huge cannon could feature in FH, but then the map would have to be an objective based map, about eliminating that cannon in time before it becomes operational.....like 20 mintes or so.

If it does become operational the allies lives are forfeit, they will be blasted off the map with explosions that really flatten all infantry and tanks in an area as big as an El Alamein base.

Since everything in FH is smaller then in real life, it should fire every 3 minutes or so when the 20 minutes preparing time are up.

The fun of it would be with all the nOObs wanting to fire that gun and score 20 victorypoints in one shot they will be all at that the site of that cannon........

With all german players in the wrong place ( at the cannon site ) it will be a real challenge to set up a german defense line away from the cannon to make sure the allies do not reach that cannon and destroy it before it can shoot.

But if no german player is going to defend that cannon it is never going to fire neither......

the best idea I've seen in this thread  a serious one too. It could be fixed at the allied base. Maybe at some factories like in BoB (too much lag?). Or maybe the germans have to send spotters/officers to the base (first objective) and then the cannon can be fixed at the base. The allied objective would be (of course) to destroy the cannon before it shots. Good idea could work. But the main problem that it wont work good in public maybe in serious clan gaming.

But of course no such big gun where used in ww2 it would be too hard to shoot with it because the enemy artillary would spot it and destroy it. That couldnt be done in ww1.

(Big Bertha was also a ww1 gun)

Ok let's clear this up.

BOW, the picture you posted is of the "Dora." The "Paris Gun" was really long. It's the first picture that Dawson posted. The Dora had an 800mm cannon. Btw before you go thinking the germans made the biggest cannon I'm not sure if you guys have read up on the 1000mm cannon that Sadam built. ;)

Yes the Germans had weapons of mass distraction too.
