Hi I was wonder is it possible in .66 that the plane wegage affect will lokk better when they fall out of the sky. I meen i do like how they blow up into lots of peices:) but when they fall down they fall in a lazy speed all black and when they hit the ground they bounch if they hit front first or any other place. I think you should and some flame coming out like when the plane is damage right before it is going to exploded and that the flaing speed of the plane will be fast and that it wont fall and bounch around. It would be a nice touch.

It would be cool to see effects like these implemented. It's kind of wierd to see a plane "floating" to the ground, then landing softly as if it weighed nothing. I'm sure there must be some way you can increase the wieght of plane wreckage?. And perhaps add flames to the wreck model for added satisfaction?

i know the dc had added flame to the tanks after it is destroyed so it must be possible with planes.

I think planes should explode into small pieces

Planes didnt always explode, infact, that only happened if a fuel source was hit, like the wing, or an external pod, like a droptank.

The most common thing, was that a certain control cable, or mandatory piece was cut/snapped/shot/blown off, thus rendering the plane uncontrollable...

Not really sure what im trying to say, but would be cool if somehow this could happen instead, with maybe a slight plume of smoke eminating from the wrecked plane, instead of it exploding mid-flight and gently drifting to the ground as a solid black wrecked model.

I have played IL2 for the past 2h, and rarely I shot a guy so he exploded...

Also, imagine the lag. I can barely play now, with the hurricane's MG firing...plus plane exploading=nightmare.

Something similar to DC, where smallpieces of the plane on fire drift down to the ground. This should also be normal for tanks, jeeps etc.
