'LIGHTNING [NL']Hihi, I'm Dutch and I've bot 5Mb :D Anyway, no lag when flying, haven't got a clue what you're on about...
Curse you Eurothrash... mind you the frogs have shite connection too... Ok curse you orange bastards :(

Seems like you were not on the ball fast enough! lol :)
@Solo4114 (or anyone that knows)
Can the type of monitor you have be better for gaming over others and, if so, what is a good monitor for gaming? :confused:
Some are better, but it won't affect performance drops and lag.
You think 5mb is good? Try 11! I generally get pings of between 30 and 70. Ahh, Cable. The sole thing I have that makes gaming on my computer good.
I can run FH just fine with a Mobility Radeon 9200, so you don't have to shell out tons of dough to play decently. And no, I'm not on low settings. I'm actually running pretty damn high for a midrange mobile laptop meant for office work.
But still, never get the Compaq Presairo X1000. JBL speakers suck on that thing. Just a helpful tip! :D
I cant complain, i have a crappy €50/month cable connection and my ping to wolf is around 80. I just need to upgrade my crappy rig.. :uhm:
Just a note, sound's won't cause the hardware lag themselves, it's usually the people's hardware/soundcard that is to blame for sound lag caused. Another culprit is 'heavy' .wavs in the sound.rfas, say a mg42 sound is 321kb for example, now imagine that getting fired non-stop at the MG42's firerate
One of the reasons i hate retards that fire their weapons for no reason at all..
I play from my work OC192 sometimes. I get pings of 8.
People think Im running the server on the same box Im playing on. My Comcast home connection usually gets me between 40-80, which is perfectly acceptable.
100+ I start noticing lag.
The tracer effects (and the spent shell casings... thought we were removing them?) are the laggers.
