Admiral Donutz;3322732In such a case it would be easier to just scale the map up (scale 2 is default, so the map is 200% the size you picked). Make it scale 8 and it's 800% the size of (the largest possible size is 1024 x 1024 meter) = 819.200 meter = 8.192 km.

The downside: It's know to be buggy :( AND it's much less detailed since the 8 km map will use as many tiles as a map of 1km on 1024 (obviously 1km/1024 > 8km/1024).

Sorry to burst your bubble but bf2 doesn't support anything except scale 2 all other scales cause errors. I investigated this for FS space maps and the only other size that is usuable is scale 4 but it create texture issues, which are no problem for space amps but aside from an all water map (Crossing the atlantic or something.) This isn't of much use to you.

I know, hence the "The downside: It's know to be buggy". ;) You can create a map with other scale's but you will enounter a lot of issues.

Perhaps that one day somebody finds a solution, probably not but a man can dream not? :p
