Well, fast flying planes would be realistic, but what good is a superfast Tempest when you can't hit anything on the groumd with your rockets? As long as you don't have a way to increase view distance the speed for planes has some kind of limit...

This is gonna be great. A Bf 109G6 that looks like it belongs in the great IL-2 air sim. Ok Erich Hartmann- you got a wingman. That is awesome ! :bows: No need for Viagra to get my blood pumping. It will be tempting to TK just to get into that famed fighter.-just kidding-but it would be tempting. :naughty: Can''t wait to flame my first fat allied "Heavy".

Yup, IMO, on most maps, if the visibility were like that in real life, the planes would be grounded :) I don't suppose anything can be done about that though, short of rolling back fog for all and giving ground-pounders eagle-eye vision.

Not suprising, the Tempest was a low/mid alt interceptor that by chance could carry ordanance, the Typhoon was the tank buster of the two and was better due to the more stable low speed characteristics. In 44/45 you were more likely to see a Spitfire IX doing close air support than a more valuable Tempest.

the air corps needs a re-do, brits and japs first. we need gladiators first and foremost, then the hurricane (done though) and then new spitfires. but get all plenty of new planes in and hurry up. id lvove to see a P51B and the A36 ground attack version.
