I was just wondering if AT weapons such as the Panzerschreck and Bazooka had special rounds when dealing with Infantry, because it seems that the current weapons in game have almost no splash damage which I suppose is quite appropriate. However if they had HE rounds, it would be realy interesting if that was implemented in game with the ability to switch between rounds using the same rate of fire function used for the BAR and FG42. Just a thought..

campers galor... sitting up in a building by an ammo box firing HE rounds... great although apart from that i do think that is good, to be honest, ive always thought that bazookas should make you fly up in the air without taking hardly any damage, so you can harm the enemy, without killing them and it wouldnt be a campers dream

You might very well think that

But it'd be just like the guns in Minority Report - blasting waves of people into the air without harming them! Hmmm, now there's something to play around with in a crowded trench...

I'm not sure about the Bazooka and Schreck, but the PIAT hat special HE rounds, and the Panzerschreck had fragmentation rings to be attached to the warhead. We didn't implement that for the obvious reasons of quake style gameplay.

I concur with Hartmann on this one. I don't want to see bazookas being used against infantry.

Although, I have to say I'm guilty of doing this ONCE. The other day when I was AT and I only had the colt and the enemy soldier was prone with an MG really far away I tried hitting him with the bazooka since my colt couldn't reach. :p

You could put a delay on the HE shells, like with the rifle granade, it would be very hard to whore as moving the crosshairs any faster then uber-slow makes them expand. It would be usefull to clear out buildings, riflegranades dont always cut it.

why not just fix the rifle grenades? dedicated kit, without delay, and a proper load-out (10 HE, 5 HEAT). rifle will pay a loss of accuracy, and increased reload time (both bolt operating, and clip change). notice how nobody even bothers commiting suicide with the jap mortar? what makes you then think that a pickup grenade support kit will do it so much more?

I guess I could see the schrek whoring problem occuring. What if you incorporated HE rounds ingame, however make them as a limited supply of pickup kits scattered throughout maps. I just think this type of weapon could really help in clearing out buildings, trenches and mg nests.

I have requested this weapon also and the whoring can be easily avoided placing it as a rare kit in the terrain...it's the time of valiants, FH crew

The reason I thought of this was due to its use in Saving Private Ryan with the panzerschrek being used on the allies, and yes I know that movies are quite inaccurate at times, but thats what inspired this idea.
