I really like the idea of being able to pick up limited kits from supply drops and vehicles. Also the vehicle entry/exit points

Oh, and those vehicle locks for engineers are for things like tanks, planes, helos, etc. Normal soldiers can still drive humvees, etc.

The wavy vision is for whenever a soldier is critically wounded, to simulate confusion, pain, etc. The burning vehicle doing this it because getting out of any burning or fast vehicles is not safe. Burning vehicle= fire, ammo explosions, etc. Fast vehicle exiting=eerrr... maybe getting run over?

When the guy gets out of the burning vehicle, why does his vision go all wavy like he's done some bad drugs when he walks away from the humvee?

If they were gonna add 15 more seconds to the AT reload time, they could have at least had some animation to show as to why, having the guy holding the empty weapon and do nothing about it for that long looks kinda silly.

Why do those engineering vehicles require engineers to drive? They look like regular cars to me.

Finnally whats the point of locking other classes out of vehicles if they can just walk up to the said vehicle and get the kit for it there? And speaking of request kits, isn't pulling duffle bags stuffed with a sniper rifle and guille suit out of you're boots kinda silly?

Realism indeed...

Vehicle entry point is cool though.

Cheatham;3524231I relize this is hated, but thisd gives good ideas.
Yeah if you're a vanilla BF2 player; why did I die with one shot to the face muehahahaha:bawl:. Stupid bitching kids need their nap time and a good dose of ritalin. I played PR for a week then went back to vanilla and what a surprise that was. My conservatism made me die a whole lot less, and this was with me dying a ton in PR so I sure wasn't completely used to PR yet, and what would you know I was top of the round two times in a row before I said screw this.

foodmaniac2003;3524292They somehow got destructable sections for tanks.
Unfortunately people who have no idea what they're talking about when it comes to coding, misconstrue what devs say for example when they say we won't do it, they think they mean that it's impossible and it becomes the rule and if you're able to do it you would be mocking god. I'm not inferring that I'm knowledgeable at all with python coding but I sure as hell don't turn on the engine of the rhumor mill while I try and avoid the splinters of bullshit.

I mean the devs over at EA/DICE have destructible sections for their mod using the BF2 engine, I forget the name now, oh yeah battlefield 2142 and they certainly aren't godly. I mean would god release a game full of bugs and not fully patch it only to forgeddaboudit:rolleyes: and make a "mod" off it and not release the promised modding tools for their new creation to an expectant and loyal community. Sorry for all the sarcasm and satire and whatever else.

Jetro;3524266When the guy gets out of the burning vehicle, why does his vision go all wavy like he's done some bad drugs when he walks away from the humvee?

Oh I don't know a lack of oxigen to the brain, shock/trauma, injuries causing lack of blood hence oxigen to the brain. Take your pick Macho man.
Why do those engineering vehicles require engineers to drive? They look like regular cars to me.

*Commander talking to "engineer"* Sir, I need my optics cleaned, tracks replaced and I took an rpg round to the top of the turret so see how severe it was and if the tank needs more serious repair. *In high pitched naisily voice* Oh, I'm sorry sir I'm just a lowly grunt who made it out of bootcamp. But if you want me to work on your tank I guess I could find a screwdriver in one of those bin thingies on the top of your tank *commander again* Congrats, yes it's called a bin, want a cookie, and the thing attached to it is called a turret, say it with me now, terrr- rett, good here's a cookie. One more thing, if I see you working on my tank, I'll kill you! Now can I get an engineer!?
Finnally whats the point of locking other classes out of vehicles if they can just walk up to the said vehicle and get the kit for it there?

I don't know, good question. If handing out the kits is the commanders responsibility and he can assign it to a player who has proven himself cappable with said piece of equipment what would be the benefit in that. I sure as hell don't have a clue.

"EXCCCCCCUUUUUUUUUUUUUSEEEE me princess!"
So what if it's my time of the month, i've had this cold for a few days now. Sure it's no excuse but it explains a little. Plus, I love my parents. Sorry Jetro you seem like a calm collected individual. Damn do I ever feel embarrassed.

Plus, nice kick below the belt with the whole age and princess thing

Ah huh huh huh. You've really got some issues to sort out. To shed some light on whatever is bothering you for others it all started in with mydjinny's thread called savouring the engine thread and with his joking retort that he thought went too far but I said didn't and all you had to say was you didn't go far enough. Now, this; welcome to my Ignore list. I mean you are a real mature guy starting e-fights with people a continent or country away who will not have their needed chance to knock you out.

*Medic* WHAT NOOOOO!!! Danm... geuss we'll just have to drag Jimmy to the rear then, hope he doesn't bleed out. On one, two hmph!

*Other soldier* Hey guys it's got an automatic tranmission, you can just use it.

*Medic* Are you mad, MAN!?
