Why do most sites require you to regester to download FH? I find it kind of an invasion of privacy not to mention the posibility of them selling your e-mail address. Maybe they need to make separate not have to register list of mirror web sites.

Wow. You're way to paranoid to be getting on the internet like you are. Besides, you actually believe all that crap about emails and privacy intrusion? Ha. And you had to register here, did you not?

Just register, been registered here for about 5 years (even though my join date says other wise :P) and I haven't seen any evidence that my e-mail address has been sold, same for other sites.

If you don't want to register you should download the torrent or download it from www.bf1942files.com.

I spent a few minutes going through the mirrors till I found one that didn't require registration. I don't have a problem registering here or at any other site I will use for more than a single download. I forget which I ended up using but it gave me about 325KB/s (375 woulda been my full 3Mb/s download speed). Just left it, went to the beer store, ate dinner, etc... about an hour and a half. No biggie.
