So after a few months playing BF2 and after moving house I'm thinking of returning to FH once more. The last time I played was before BF2 came out, and I'm not too impressed with CoD2 at creating a World War II atmosphere. In the WW2 department I havent been satisfied for a long time. Since the release of BF2 did the community and number of players take a nose dive as predicted, or has the number of players increased since 0.7? Just checking the FH site out, sloping armour and skirts on tanks sounds superb, and its making me feel all tingly again just like it used too. Only trouble is that its a 2Gb download + the BF1942 patches which is a lot for my now very poor 1Meg ADSL connection. Is there still enough people to have a good game or has it gone the way of TFC?

Yeah, altough people playing FH have declined in the last couple of months, people are still playing it...

Oh, and about sloping armor! You will hate it if you are playing as German on Kharkov Winter!

I did have 4meg Cable DSL, so downloading the patches is more of an inconvenience than it used to be. Getting used to a connection that is a quarter of the speed of your own one sucks.

I'll see you all in Wolf sometime tomorrow or something.

Trust me, it's still worth it. COD2 is fun at LAN parties, and that's about it. BF2 is still too glitchy, the community sucks, and the game's specs are way overblown. FH is the way to go, don't ever let anyone convince you otherwise;)
