I think the general solution is just to make the PPSh less accurate. Do that and you've leveled the playing field mostly. That or have them as pickup kits to simulate a shortage of good weapons.

Then I guess the accuracy thing's the only balancing factor. That or give the Germans MG34s and 42s on all maps where Russians get the PPSh.

today i have seen the perfect exemple of two probleme on wolf server map pavlov As i have only 512 DDr i am always spawning when half of the team as ... So i spawn as russian take the PPSH attack the last flag axis has (after 2 minutes) kill 5 man throw a grenade get 2 other take the flag with 2 more russian ... and we win .... map last around 4 minutes finished 3 out of 35 this exemple shows 2 problemes : on sux map the fact that slow or medium computeur arrives later when the map is already realy done and this damned PPSH is unrealist ... just keep on fireing around a soldiere untill you hit him In fact the more you fire the less precision you should have ... but it's not true with the PPSH

I like how XWWII implemented the submachineguns. They can be used effectively only at ranges less than like 50 meters and have humongous recoil, unless used in short bursts. The advantages with them are, that the ones that have high ROF, actually have a high ROF, unlike in FH. It doesn't take either more than two bullets to kill an enemy. At very close ranges they are as good as dead, if not equipped with an automatic weapon equivalent to yours. At ranges more than like hundred meters you really need luck to beat a rifleman.

In current FH version they are fairly well balanced, but something should be done to prevent the so called SMG sniping. Maybe reduce the maximum accuracy of SMGs to maybe about 70% of current.
