Is there going to be that noob/crap in FH2? i'm sure its been talked about alot but i cant find it anywhere
No I dont think so. On an irrelevant side note can we get a 232 in fh2? hehe

no UAVs for sure but I think you could expect other scout means besides the FH1 spotting with binoculars. No harm in having a airplane do some spotting fromabove (though instant sattelite images are not going to be added for obvious reasons ;) ).
How about an occasional "recon flyover"?
There were tons of camera- and observer-equipped scout and recon planes in FH. Could be anything from a Fieseler Storch to a recon B-29...
Großadmiral Dönitzno UAVs for sure but I think you could expect other scout means besides the FH1 spotting with binoculars. .
I have no problem with a person spotting a tank or a person on a hill or in a bunker with binoculars etc etc but I just dont want to see some scout plane thats like that UAV in BF2 that gets rid the ability of ambushing because there was alot of that in WW2 and i'm sure the developers want the mod as realistic as possible Just to many people knew that i was comming around the corner and they jumped out holding down the trigger and moved around me because of UAV so i quit BF2
What if there was a pilotable scout plane that could detect enemies in an area the same way naval vessels radar works on some maps?
Perhaps you could only show people that are running and not stationary?
FrederfPerhaps you could only show people that are running and not stationary?
Or maybe just vehicles?
This topic scares me. I have assumed all along that FH2 will follow its Prime Directive and remain a historically accurate mod, correct? Which means no UAVs, or helos, or RPGs (please don't give me a science lesson about "well whaddaya think P-fausts and zooks are"?; you know what I mean), or nightscopes, or body armor, or any of the other weapons, systems, doctrines or techniques peculiar to this God-forsaken age of modern warfare, including the "secret weapons"on the board or in development as of September, 1945. If it wasn't on a WWII battlefield, I don't want to see it. And that includes flieger-de-wazzits and jetzenpacken. Don't want it. Ever.
If I am incorrect in my assumption that FH2 will remain reasonably historically accurate, I sign off today, and take my 0.7 into the wilderness with me...
I like the recon plane idea. It shouldnt spot dug in tanks, or infantry laying down. So if you see it coming, you can hide.
