If anybody of the red-army lovers and other people could give "russian folksongs" to me (time:WW2 or later) - it would be great ! I need them for the new version of my map where i will use it coming out of a radio...:) I found nothing - and its hard if u can´t read the language...:naughty: Just post the links here or mail to my adress. THX
PM sent. Hope they're what you want.
Get "Katuysha" ;) Prolly the most known war-time song Edit: Here is a link, and it's actually recorded in 1939, so the quality is just right http://retro.samnet.ru/music/phono/war/katusha.mp3 There is not a single Russian WWII-time movie that doesn't have thing song playing
Damn editting time limit Anyways, for those wondering, the song is not about the "Rocket Truck". Katyusha is a nice way of saying Katya, and that's a girl's name. And the song is about that girl worrying about her beloved fighting in the war. Take it from a Russian, this is the Russian WWII-song
Go to, http://kriegsende.aktuell.ru/lieder/ and listen to the first track, this was the #1 war song.
