Hey does anyone know if you can set mouse-look movement to the keyboard instead of mouse? Since I've read some guy managed to make it work for the joystick's hat I was wondering if there's a way to make it work for keyboard's numpad or direction keys. For flying I only use keyboard (WASD+up/down,left/right keys+Space+Left Shift) and I use the C key for activating mouse-look. I rarely use it because it's just worse having to constantly moving my right hand to the mouse then back to the keyboard. Thanks in advance!

The little program JoyToKey, that lets you map mouse movement to the hatswitch...I think you can use it to map to other keys as well.....But not sure.

I deleted mine after gettting TrackIR.

SetView also does Joystick hat (or any key/button) to control mouse. The problem with Bf1942 is that to use the freecam it disables all the rest of your controls so you have to do any looks quickly.

Could you give me a linkie for download of SetView and/or JoyToKey? I've tried searching on Google for both but it doesn't give any clear result for SetView and JoyToKey brings up a bunch of chinese and japanese webpages. Thanks.

I don't have it now. Most IL-2 Sturmovik fansites will have links to it.

Are you sure the program's name is SetView?? I can't find anything at all even on IL-2 sites... EDIT: Hmm I've seem to have stumbled upon a program called NewView. Seems to be that, giving it a try. Will it work for BF42/FH? It seems to have been made only for IL-2.

NewView, that's the one! It works with any joystick/keyboard button making a "virtual mouse." So you could navigate windows using the arrow keys to push around the mouse cursor for example. It should work in BF as a "virtual key-controlled mouse." Remember to "mouselook" in BF you have to press the mouselook key which prevents you from flying the plane (deadstick) while it's pressed.
