bratwurst brings up a good point, i could replace the unused objects with my shells, and use theirs names in the code, brilliant.. edit: i would need 10 unused objects though.

in terms of a patch pooky, maybe all we need is the ironsights and the shell ejections FX, sounds and textures are already taken care of, imo, with bratwurst's sound pack and the mr_cheese's historical textures pack.

i also think that even with the iron sights, crosshairs should still be implemented. that way, maybe we could replace the animations and still play FH on normal FH servers.

any feedback on the effects?

The ironsights from FHE seem low quality. No one else thinks the same?

that's because the ingame weapons are quite low poly for nowaday standards ;) this is quite an old game hehe

but i think it's better than nothing and i still want to make this mod if it would be used on fh servers. it's nicer to have ironsights and this shell ejection effect right?

o and katzinski_0 , if you want i know how to model stuff so if you need things just ask (small stuff like these shells are easily made)

well i've been offline for a while, i'm taking a break i don't know when i'll be back, but feel free to take the mod files i uploaded and merge them with the iron sights, i grant you full use of my mod! also, i tried importing the shell ejection effect to FH, and it works fine and all, but the position of where the shell is ejected need to be edited for the FH weapons. some of them are fine though.. you do this by going into the weapon's object.rfa, looking for the effect, and using gmax to find the coordinates of where you want the shells to be ejected from (use the cursor).

underneath the effect line in the weapon's objects.rfa, you will find the corrdinates, replace them with the new ones and i think that should work. good luck!
