I have two questions here, but what does a tank commander do in the game, do they have special views or something like that, and ships need to be redone so they sink better, I sunk a ship ok Makin Island and it just dissapered. Thanks much.

Tank commanders have wrenches and either a pistol or a submachinegun as a weapon. They dont have any special views or anything like that in tanks. As for the ship thing, I doubt its really possible.

Tank commanders are used to repair tanks simple as that.

Oh it's possible, just I'm not sure if the ends would be worth the means.

Hi i am new here so forgive me for being a nube, but i love forgotten hope, I actually think the tank commander should have a different view, and the ship sinking thing is fine with me, if you are far away, it actually looks pretty decent!

Welcome to the forums.

The tankcommanders are equipped with a pair of binoculars so imho they can see pretty much different. Sadly they have to leave their tank to use it and thus betraying their location by the grey tank phenomena. Should be great if tankcommanders could use their binoculars from their turrets or even better could zoom in with their tanksights.

Thats why the view slits on the StuG for the tank commander are so great, since you can use binuculars while remaining in your vehicle, i have good hopes more tanks will see this feature in the future. :naughty:

This is the main reason I like XWW2. All the tanks have no icons. Getting out of your tank and looking around with binoculars, after playing FH for so long is a good feeling.

but i think that isnt realy realistic, cous in the war the tankcomander first stap out of his tank look wher the enemy is than get in give orders and fire... he could step out the hetch and than get back in.
