LoboPersonally I think scoreboard doesn't afect the teamplay, teamplay is in the chromosomas of players, some players love teamplay and others hate it, with or without scoreboard. So this idea is nonsense. And maybe you remember when DICE released a patch that screwed the scoreboard of FH and other mods, during the weeks we had not scoreboard we almost had not players. So no, thanks.

Agree with you ;)

|D|-Crazycanuck And because sending paratroopers or commandos using jeeps to conduct raids against the enemy to disrupt supply depots and routes or create multiple fronts also never really happened, we can only conclude that players who do these things must be point whoreseekx.gif who just don't understand the concept of teamplay and playing 'realistically'.

I agree with what you say, but this in particular is a little off to me. FH is a game of tactical, not strategic combat. If there are meant to be paratroopers, they already included in the map. (Crete, Supercharge, Market Garden, Caen) AFAIK, nobody that bailed out of a fighter plane ever accomplished anything but escape or capture, That's realistic. Multiple fronts are a function of strategic-level games. In FH, we are only simple soldiers at the point of attack. Multiple fronts would mean a different map, using the same general locale. Now, if a map featuring the UK in the form of the 8th LRDG were made, then one would expect back-flag captures and such, because that's what those guys did. Of course, it's really a moot point, since without a command structure, we can't have "realistic" teamplay anyway. @Run 4 da gun: You are really bad at detecting sarcasm :D

My 2 cents: keep the personal frag/kill score and team scores but loose everybody elses personal frag/kills. That way you can still see how you did the round, but you dont have the competition.

Beast of WarThis one says that it was an extremely bad idea

Actually the poll is 28 - 25, in favour of those that want to remove at least the frag score. :deal: However, my original post did not mention anything about increased/decreased teamplay. I never implied that removing scoreboard will magically make people work in a team. However, with the scoreboard removed, there will be less people crying "scorewhore" to cover up thier incompetance :D

No scoreboard, will encourage teamwork. I don't care about my score as long as I'm helping my teammates and to win.One time I was on Fall Weiss-1939 on Axis side, I decided to help my team by driving the Transport trucks to transport soldiers from the base to the frontline and back. Well sure I didnt get any score for that, but it felt good transporting a full truck of soldiers to the frontline. By doing that, my team won.

People will still play for score, cause they will want to be on top of the scoreboard at the end of the round when it's shown. And those that cry "scorewhore" will still continue to cry at those that are playing for the team

The game is obviously more fun with a scoreboard. If you kill more than you die you gain points for the team, if you cap flags your obviously helping the team. So if your good at both why not have it show in the scores? I just understand some people and some of their posts here. They complain about score-whores, jeep runners capping flags, rambos who run around and just kill everything, arty whores etc etc and complain about lack of teamwork. My question is, if your not capping flags and your not killing more than you die, and you haven't spent the endless hours perfecting arty, armor or piloting to get those high KDR numbers, *your not defending back flags because it's boring (*I just remembered, the same people amking these complaints also state that nobody stays behind to defend back flags) than 1) please please tell me, what the heck are you doing? 2 )And if a having a high KDR is out, and capping flags is out what is you idea of teamwork?confusedx.gifconfusedx.gifconfusedx.gif I just don't know how you can win a map when your definition of teamwork means not killing more than your being killed, not capping flags *and not defending back flags.* I'm very confused. Please enlighten me. :uhm:

Team work is working TOGETHER in accomplishing an objective without the need to know or care if you have more kills\flags caps etc then the others on your team. Do you think a B17 bomber pilot needs to know the amout of deaths he has administered on the ground below in order for him and his crew to man that aircraft? Should the pilot get more points, than the bombadier, navigator or gunners ? I can't understand why you have too see your own individual score in order to have team work? That is totally illogical. There is no "I" in team. You can still kill/cap or whatever for your team so what is the problem? Nobody is saying you can't do the job unless others see what a great score you have massed. The solution is to make the kind of score tally that is displayed a server side option. :feedback:
