i prefer small maps as the fighting is much more compact and u dont have far to travel to get to the action. BUT, if a large map is correctly made there is also tight action in them too. (unlike breakthrough)

I generally enjoy large maps, as long as there is enough transportation! (*cough* Fall of Weiss *cough*) Walking to a flag for three or so minutes just to get capped by a sniper really, really sucks.

I prefer large maps, especially Breakthrough. Drive out with a tank to search for an enemy and BANG... BANG... BANG...! But then again, I've never played it on servers.

Generally I prefer larger maps, because I feel the smaller ones just aren't done well and end up feeling like quake maps. Zielona Gora is a prime example of this. Some smaller maps like Falaise Pocket are good, but on the whole, I prefer a larger map because it allows for more/better strategy.

I voted small maps, but I do like big maps, too. Especially if they include some nice aircraft.

I have never had enough players on TS at one time (maybe 4-6), to develop anything that remotely resembles strategy when playing a large map with 16 or 20 players on each side. :uhm: Just 40 or more players doing thier own thing.

3rd option for I prefer both if they're fun should have been there, that's what I would have picked, but there are times where you're stuck running long distances as infantry which can become monotonous. Something like that is why I grew tired of XWWII at times. Both types of maps are great though in their own right.
