Well, Lets just say i preferred the original, dont get me wrong it's alright, the tank battles are amazing if you can find a decent server with players that dont tk you just for the sake of it but the rest of the gameplay is slow in comparison. Models are great but the enviroment is a bit raw, I personally think a different theatre would have been better to launch with because we have been looking at sand for the past couple of years in BF2, Europe or the pacific maybe? Overall, could of been better! am sorry, i know you worked hard on it and all but seriously how many years??? Ya should of kept ya mits off the PR stuff and left it how it was, if its not broke, dont fix it! Who ever play tested it needs shooting, the maps are laggy in places and riddled with bugs and if you add that to the already slow and frustrating gameplay.... well there was definately to much playing and not enough testing going on I will hang around to see what your next hopefully very soon to be released patch brings Best of luck with it anyway See ya around
What is this 'PR stuff' people talk about? I see very few similarities between the two mods.
*sigh* you guys expected BF1942 it was never advertised as such. If you don't like historical accuracy and alittle realism you're playing the wrong mod.
All those complaints about flying are just bull.
LoadMasterC141;4093475 Why can't you just build a game the masses want? Truly sad as I can see how much detail has gone into the development of this.
Because they would loose all the players they have now and I doubt they would enjoy working on a arcade style mod.
You are right, FH2 is not BF2 meets bf1942, it would have been a major disappointment for the FH fans if it had been. FH2 is FH1 meets BF2.
The game feels more like PR than it does FH
Because it's on the same engine and has ironsights.
@LoadMaster: PR currently is the most played mod in the BF2 community. 2 out 100 liked it? Interesting as I still see some thousand people online and gaming. So we had at least 50 000 people playing FH2? Nonsense. @PANDA: Teamplay and public servers, day 2. @Bys0n: Maybe thats because of the fact that both are based on the same game.
So far I'm very impressed with this mod. I found the FH devs implemented things way better (ironsights, vehicle views, kits) than the Battlegroup guys , and their release from a week ago feels a lot rougher compared to this one.

I don't know what all this PR crap is about either, the game feels like FH on a more advanced engine, nothing more.
I knew we would get an influx of 'tards registering on the forums to complain that its too realistic but I could not have predicted it would be this bad. Some of them are even claiming that they have been following the development of this mod, but how can they say that with a straight face when everyone knows this mod is a mixture of realism and fun, but with an emphasis on realism. To say you've been following this mod but at the same time complain its too realistic/like PR, is unbelievable- you're either an utter fool who has not paid any attention whatsoever to the aims of this mod and the thousands of posts made in this forum or you're simply lying.
I didn't make it!
How do people feel about the bangages? After I figured out which key to push to get them (mouse wheel shat itself :P), I love them.
In one instance, I was firing a Bren to cover my team's advance, someone shoots me and I start to lose sight, so I throw out a bandage, set up the Bren again, and through blurry eyes fire wildly as my vision return. And that, my friends, is how FH should be.
Despite the comments in the 'oi' thread there are a damn lot of tards out there, but I've always felt that BF2 had more than its share of idiot players.
And for those saying that FH2 came out after BF2's peak, I say this: If the BF2 players that are left are the more patient and mature gamers then I'd hate to see what BF2 was like at its peak.
