Hello,

I'm Dronetek from bf2combat.net and I was wondering who handles PR stuff around here? As you know we will be doing an FH2 tournament when it comes out. We are interested in advertisement banners for FH2 and I would like to discuss it with whoever that is.

thanks,

Dronetek

Alright, I just sent Lobo a PM. I'll send admins the same PM.

Er, PMing the FileFront admins would not be a good idea, they aren't associated with FH2, they just host the forum. PMing Lobo should be fine.

stylie;3985918OMG!!!!

Double! WTH?

In the 60's there was a US tv program, a western called Branded starring Chuck Connors. He played a former US cavalry officer, Captain Jason McCord, who was the sole survivor of a massacre. He was accused of cowardice, court-martialed and drummed out of the service. He was literally brabded with a letter ("C" maybe"), had his badges of rank stripped from his tunic, and his saber broken in two, with the blade staying in the fort and the hilt with partial blade thrown out of the fort. McCord followed, a broken, branded and disgraced man. He later used his broken but razor-sharp saber as a 2-foot long knife with a hilt, and carried it behind his shoulder, reaching for it like an archer would reach for an arrow in his quiver.

Of course it was all a great injustice. IIRC the whole drummng McCord out of the service thing might have been a cunning plan (my lord) from the start to establish cover for McCord as he worked directly under President Ulysses S. Grant, his former commander. Grant is of course a personal friend who knows the true story and thinks McCord a wonderful brave chap, etc. So McCord wanders the Old West - the world thinks him a disgraced coward who was kicked out of the army: but in reality he is a secret agent of the President, breaking up dastardly plots and conspiracies at Grant's behest.

So. Does HeyDude235 have a brand and a broken saber?
