Just an idea, what if people could only spawn at their main base, it would make combat a lot more realistic and more tactically dependant. People would throw their lives away less and retreat more like in a real war. Weapons such as artillery and anti air would be seen as more viable also. Tactics would be very much more realistic. No flaming please just tell me what you think :).
You also bring in the idea of supply, vehicles could increase in number but only at the enemy base, it would also stop the "I was killed by a rifle so I'll spawn with an SMG cause he'll be at the flag when I spawn.
DCR did this with mixed results. On the one hand, it makes for some interesting strategy. On the other hand, on maps like Gazala or Desert Rose, it can be boring as fuck. You'll spend 90% of the time going back and forth between the front and the main base. It also devalues the extraneous flags. If some of the flag points were removed but some were kept based on importance and relevance, then I can see it making the combat a lot more intense.
Although I can see where you are coming from with this suggestion, I just don't think it would work 2 well. Maybe this could be used on small city maps, but on most maps, which are typically rather large, you would be spending a vast majority of your time trying 2 get to a flag or trying 2 find enemies rather than actually fighting.
I think that would be a pain to on big maps like ohioan said most of the map driving wouldnt be all that fun,could work on some maps but not on all.
yea DCR did this, it only works out for certan maps. Even on those that its still on... well lets just say there a lot of traveling.

That travelling might actually make the APC useful. People might be more inclined to use it?
Notice our tanks are slower, if I must drive all Alamein each time I am killed with a matilda, Churchill or APC I uninstall FH :lol:
I would like to see something like this on the smaller maps. It would remove really anoying things like when you kill someone and are then capping the flag only to have them spawn right back and kill you :(
great idea, but it would only work on smaller maps like stalingrad, foy or arnham. like lobo said, SLOW tanks + MASSIVE maps = BORING although it could be done that u can still spawn at the larger, more tactically important flags. but cant spawn at the smaller and mostly usless flags on the outskirts of the map. this would create quite a mix and would realistically show the supply routes of a map without making it too boring.
