ok how do you think this class will look in FH2? is this class even needed for WWII game? i can only imagine this class in british army as a SAS with sten gun with silencer.BTW dev team mentioned something about new FH2 player models being made, can we see any progress pics? i also think that other classes should be balanced, limited number of snipers and medics,so we will not see squad of 5 medics running and reviewing each other...maybe this limitation should be implemented to squads only. dunno :/

I doubt we will see any progress pics until they are done, the FH devs don't like showing off unfinished work. As for a special ops class, it would be neat to have, although i'm not sure how realistic it would be. Imo, the spec op should not be a choosable class, only a pick up of some sort, or else we'd be having spec ops running around every where with their silenced stens and prentending to go all secret agent and such.

As opposed to the realism of everyone having a bazooka?

FH isn't a realism mod, Its a historical accuracy and GAMEPLAY mod. If having a spec ops class improves gameplay, so be it (as long as the special forces guys are historically accurate).

We're certainly planning some funky SAS commando raid maps in FH2, so keep your eye's open. On non SAS maps, you might be able to find some spec ops pickup kits.

Zero is currently working on the new player models, and they are looking simply orgasmic. really. like a bajillion times better then any other ww2 soldier model ive ever seen.

For Spec Op maps I think the Campbeltown raid might be a good choice. http://www.royal-navy.mod.uk/static/pages/2915.html

Are you guys thinking of making use of the sticky C4 ability to implement some kind of sticky bomb, explosive or dynamite that you can stick/attach to a wall, structure or vehicle? Sticky bombs and dynamites would have to have a timer I guess but explosive packs had a wire to the detonator. I for one would love that to be implemented. Say for example since we have destroyable bridges there are cool things you can do. I usually love to sabotage bridges by placing explosives right under their structure, setting them off right when an enemy tank is approaching, making him fall down into the water or destroying it. It comes very in handy as they are UNDER the bridge and the enemy can't see them.

Seconded to the above, exploit the heck out of the new stickyness feature. Sticky bombs, sticky gernades, sticky guns... ewww on that last one. Ok just the sticky bombs for the allies instead(Or in addition to) the massive backpack satchals.

Spec Ops DO have a place. The SAS is famous but I'm sure other services had their variant. One or two pickups would be great on a map!
