"Trench-Raider"HOWEVER, the german military used alot of camo,( well more than others) smocks, pants, snow suits, zeltbahns(shelter half), late uniforms and marksman's jackets were all made in camo

I really like the way the Galactic Conquest mod deals with snipers. If you're a scout, you get 2 deployable sniper "tents", which are basically a one-way transparent mesh that matches the average terrain color of whatever map you're on from the outside, and looks like a camo net from the inside. It's deployable just like a heavy MG or mortar kit in FH, and when you've used both, that's it for that kit (like for bomber kits.)

It doesn't cover the whole sniper, so either your legs or your rifle stick out, and the player's tag is still indicated if you aim directly at him, but it makes it a lot trickier to spot someone.

It'd be awesome to have fake "bushes" or "heaps of junk" or whatnot that you could hide in--I assume most snipers would build their own nest anyway.

ANZACSAS I would think it is already possible to take of the ingame name tags. It's a matter of how a server is setup. :)

tag distance is a servside setting, the only thing you can do really is find a server with it off or really low:)

From 1942, Waffen SS troops were issued with winter masks, these were also issued to snipers during warmer months. Oakleaf B Winter mask: mask.jpg

If the devs could possibly implement the ability to blow off tank tracks then I will happily be a British rifleman with a sticky bomb

Would it be revolutionary if you wouldn't see the whole are of your screen. I mean, helmet would resrict you from seeing top of your screen. Masks in different maps would take little areas from the left and right.
