That's about it...don't think it needs its own thread though, seeing as how one already exists...

I've got a tip: Go away from your PC! Checking it every now and then will only make it go slower (well, it appears that way). Just go sleep or go outside or something.

It's funny because whenever I was checking it, I would go online, check it again, and it would seem that when I opened up the intranet, the down speed got a boost of at least 40 kb/s. Wierd eh?

Just curious, when I D/L'd FH 0.61 for the first time in the regular fashion, it only took me about 9 hrs to get it (can't remember where I got it), yet this BitTorrent thing says it's gonna take 75 or so hours. Should I maybe just wait for the regular download?

It is really hard to say... Depends of your connection. If you have just started your BT download then you are supposed to have poor downloading speed... And mine said 74 days to sownload so yours isn't that bad. Currently I'm half way through and downloading at 40-70 kB/s, so about 5 or 4 hours to go, not necessarily even that much...

Exactly. Leave it on overnight. It will most likely be done when you wake up. You aren't using your computer when you sleep anyways.

It took me 9 hours to download the file. I wasn't there because of work and sleep, but I've got it 5 days early.

I bit torrent tons of stuff, from Linux distros to anime, and all I can say is you HAVE to leave it on overnight. BT slowly revs up speed and gets going the longer you have it on. Also, I notice the Share rating for FH fall from 33.012 to 9.120, which means a LOT of people have cut off their Seeding clients. Bastards. Share a little, eh?

Read the BT-reminder-thread to find out that you should not use 1ß-20% of your upload-bandwith to get the best download-speed. And when you are done downloading increase set uploadspeed to max and increase the number of upload slots to "maxupload in kb/s : 4".
