I've been wondering for some time now.... In the upper-left corner of Valirisk, there's a bombed out-city no-one goes to, but which seems to be a flag. One time as a german I helped cap it and noticed what appeared to be a T-34 with a swastika on it (this was pre-.65, as I recall). The other guy got mad at me when I took it, claiming that it was his and I was a theif. I responded that it didn't have his name on it, and he responded by shooting me in the back. I then responded the next round by blowing him away as he headed for a Katyusha and, welll... you see where this is going. My question is, what was so special about this tank? I'm completley out of the loop as to its significance.

Probably nothing really that special about it. They have a T-34 with a skin that marks it as captured by the Germans. They have/had some of those on Prokhorovka as well. The other guy was probably just an idiot.

Its a Pz747(r) or the german designation for T-34s they captured. The T-34 was a better tank then most PzIIIs and early PzIVs so the germans used T-34s to a great extent. Its a T-34/85 which doesnt make sense on a 1943 map where the Russians dont even have one but other then that its a good addition.

The Pz747(r) was pretty common because T-34s were so common and often captured because they were good. The factory normally has little direct fighting, but is often fought for around the main city flags

The only problem is that the Pz.747r should be a T-34/76, not an '85, the Germans captured very few T-34/85's. By the time the T-34/85 entered service the Germans were on the defensive and the chances of capturing a T-34 were reduced significantly.

Fake Shempbut which seems to be a flag.

Jeee.... you think? Nice late discovery, of one of the most vital flags of the map  There is nothing special about that tank. But it has a great gun compared to the other stuff axis get on that map (excluding the Tigers of course). Furthemore, Russians tend to think it's "thier" tank from horizon and don't fire on it.... Too bad axis tend to think it's "not thier" tank from horizon too.. and tend to TK you in it. Your best strategy is, after getting that tank, hide from both sides :D

germans get the Pz.747(r) when they cap this flag; Soviets get the OT-34. The important thing about this flag is that it also spawns vehicles in your mainbase, i know the Stuka spawns for axis and i think the KV-2 comes for Soviets along with a second Mig3. Y'all know what a Stuka in good hands can do, and y'all can well imagine how efficient it can be when the ennemy has no airpower to counter it... So: go for that North West flag and defend it at all costs (both teams can cross the river and sneak some inf to it)
