I had one heck of a game in the charlie sector map. I was playing in the priest server and I never seen this much chaos. I was on the American side. Often times I would arm myself with a BAR. Suprisingly, unlike the wolf server, there were a lot of players piling on the German side. I did remember one time, an artillery shell somehow hit my landing boat before we even got to shore. After managing to get to the shingle, I had to continuously fire at the bunker slots. It got more chaotic just trying to get into the bunkers. It was raining grenades and satchels from the bunkers and the hilltops. While storming the bunkers there's a lot of explosions. The frequent shaking of the screen (which resulted from nebelwerfers and 150mm artillery hitting the bunkers) disoriented my aim a lot and got me killed by axis players. Like other servers that I played in with charlie sector, I only gotten as far as the two bunkers and the axis players kept taking back the bunkers.
So what is your point of this statement then?
Apparently you feel the Allied are to inferior to the Germanic fortified positions thus you wish to complain so you could have what frustated you removed or limited.
I think he's just recounting one of the many great gaming moments FH produces! I've had games like this - catching the map in time to be in the 1st wave of boats on Charlie Sector, holding off the Brits at the front line defences on Gold for the whole round, defending the entrenched King Tiger in Berlin Streets from waves of Russian infantry ;)... and so the list continues. It's a testament to the dev's amazing work!
Queen naga, can you be more positive?, he is telling us a great history about a good FH game
Who's had games of FH where the winning team wins by 1 point? I've had a few of those, real clinchers, totally awesome time.
I pretend I'm cooler than AzH

ya i had a couple of crazy expiriences where thw whole round the germans kept the americans from even takeing the beach flag. it was chaos. i couldnt get off the beach or even pop my head up to shoot at the bunkers. it was crazy because noone knew what to do and if you saw someone try to charge they would drop immeditly. i like this map and it is very intense. dount change it!!!!!!!!

I had exactly that one in a charlie round time ago, full server, in wolfgaming:
americans 1-germans 0...a blast, I swear. The germans had advantage and we managed to take the central flag with not a lot of tickets remaining, then germans started to bleed and the tension to hold them and not be killed was a kickass experience.
I take what n0e says way too seriously
9th April 2005
was playing stalingrad once, the germans had all their flags and the russians had the docks. the russians had 8 tickets left, the germans had 260 and people were already saying "gg". suddenly there is a huge push and the russians take both german flags and kill all the germans. the match ended with the russians having 6 tickets left. everyone was laughing their asses off.
2 portable mg's at the bunker exits on Omaha, results in the Americans losing the battle :naughty: Had much fun with this, and lots of kills. You have to watch out for American grenades though, but the mg well placed they cant hit you with anything.
I have a story from Omaha too. I was in the safe end of that 150mm gun you're referring to on Charlie@TheDamnedPriest some week ago. The nebelwerfer and I had a good spotter and made a mess of the whole allied effort for the better part of the round. It was all going well, until the n00bs of the allied team started whining: "Shitblast is camping with the Defgun," in concert with all sorts of cliched remarks to my skills as a player. This n00bspeak I ignored, and told them to shut up and die. Then, the admin himself, playing allies, contacted me, and told me to get off the Defgun, or face the consequences. "U gotta be kidding me," I wrote in reply, and let him face some more of that 150mm HE. Then, suddenly, I got kicked from TDP. Logging back on, I found widespread criticism of the server-adminning and people logging off in protest to the admin's threats of banning whoever would not see the wisdom of his action. The stir didn't settle until well into the next round. Today, both I and the spotter are what seems permanently banned from TDP. As we tried to log on to their forum to sort things out, we found we had both been banned from it as well. My spotter tried to get in touch with them over IRC, but also here faced a ban before he could reap any reason for being cast out.
