Hey how do you make that Sub dive in Desert Rose? Also how many topedos does it take to send a destroyer to davy Jones locker? Does this little sea battle have much effect on the general outcome of the game?

You press the "up" arrow as far as I know to make submarines dive. And from what I understand torpedoes are very powerful, and it only takes arounjd 2 to sink a ship.

yea that is correct. If the sub is dived under, dont forget you have an Oxygen limit

i think you should be able to walk around in subs if thats posable

You cant even walk around in the sub in SHIII, so what do you expect from FH ?

Is there a difference between planetorpedoes and subtorpedoes? I mean the amount of damage they inflict.

It depends on the country, I think. For instance, in the Pacific, the Americans do not have the best torps, to say the least. Meanwhile, though, the Japanese own the American ships with their Long Lance torps, be it submarine or aircraft version. So yes, I would say there is a difference between different nations' sub and plane torps, but I doubt there is a difference between the two kinds inside their nations.

A good submariner can help. On Desert Rose, after you sink their destroyer, you can shell the main base with your cannon. On Midway, a submarine can't be ignored. Even though good DD captains will hunt you down, if left alone you can cap flags and take out their BB and aircraft carrier, plus any sundry ships - until your torpedoes are gone! One of my favorite toys in FH.
