Reg FH, the subs have a few positions. Its difficult sometimes because if you have a crew. The other guy has to stay in the gun or he'll fall off and float away when you submerge. Will FH2 have different seats they can sit in. Maybe give them something to do? Its kinda dumb to have someone 50 feet below the water shooting a cannon at the sup who is still above water. And then he starts to drown after a while. Need some input.
I guess they will have a holding area and maybe make you reload faster(submerged).
I was thinking the same thing ;) But idk if they are going to have underwater battles which would make it useless if they didnt. I never did it in FH before.
It would be cool if you, when you exited "stations" inside the sub (more on those later), you came out on top of either the conn hatch (control room) or the deck hatch (torpedo loading room, engine rooms) <-----in parens are "stations" you could be in. If you were in the torp loading room, the sub might reload torpedoes faster. In the control room, it might give you an accuracy advantage of some way. In the engine room you might go faster, all by putting the surface gun crews to work within the ship. People would take about 10 seconds to get out of the stations, if that's possible, then man the deck guns and open fire on some Japanese marus...

Great minds think a like! :D
Hmm.. my quick thoughts on that:
An open slot in the engineer room, so that it could be repaired underwater (if it wouldn't unbalance the whole thing. Maybe making it slow to repair?) Now I don't know if this is possible to add or not, but maybe have a sonar slot. So as long as a member is inside the sonar slot, you get a radar around your sub, like on the old destroiers in BF42... just a quick thought :P
Remeber though BF is not a simulation engine.
true... might gotten a bit too far with realism..

Search forums, posted something very similar a few months back. Good idea, yes.

Indeed, and it doesn't seem too much to me. It would make submarining much more fun.
