Perhaps when its in a more or less finished state, or some individual comes along and applies his skills to make some quality models & skins of these beasts.

It takes time to model a unit, and things like these could be only used on only a couple maps at best, when we have various common tank destroyers etc yet to be modeled.

NO!

The Maus never even saw combat! And this is a realism mod. Make a green traktor before the Maus.

Did the Ho-229 see combat?

(if it did, by all means pwn me)

But yes, I know, the Ho-229 was donated by an eager fan. I agree that there are many major things that need doing. (PzIII, Hetzer, Spitfire remodel, France, Italy, Suomi SMG, RKM Browning... the list goes on). My general policy in life is this - If you start something, finish it. Don't go on and on making more unfinished things.

What makes you so certain of that ?

According to various RUSSIAN sources i read, one Maus did saw combat.....only very short combat.

When the Russians overran the test facility where several Maus superheavy tanks were being developed and tested, one unfinished test Maus wich had a ( Tiger II ausf B ) 88 mm cannon on it and no secondary armerment was used in the defence of the complex.

One of the unfinished test Maus versions found on the complex is on display at the Kublinka museum in Russia, most parts on it are mock up though to make it look like what the Germans had in mind but never came to completing.

As far as your "realism" claim goes, it would not be out of place in Alpenfestung, wich has even UFO's in it that really did not see combat

The maus was so heavy it could not cross bridges, it also moved at like 5 mph.

But i doubt a sherman could touch it, even from the rear. If those babies made it to the western front.. ouch :p
