Not really, discussing hypotetical (difficult word >_< ) things is fun. Not ignorant :p. And if you would just stop replying there wouldnt be an argument!

Alomost there. Hypothetical, I think...

Look, if you dont want swastikas in, then leave FH as it currently is. If you want realistic skins, get one of the minimods.

... Well, exactly what I said 2 or 3 times before. But why should we stop this perpetuum mobile, right ;) ? Ok, I think it's really time to end this discussion now. Everything is already said (and repeated and repeated and...) CU next time on a friendly FH server nearby :) Peace friends... But not during the game ;) ...

RikupsoniStupid german swastika haters, we can't have Finnish swastikas either, although they don't have nothing to do with Nazism edit: btw i didn't read this thread, if you

I hear ya! When I was in the service in the FAF, my unit flag (Lapland Air Wing) had a swastika in it. It sure is a beautiful sight! :)

P.S. I'm not a nazi and neither is the swastika!

I read that the German representatives in the EU are pushing forth a unionwide ban of nazi symbols. Depending how it's done, I think it's a good idea. This is an issue that needs some sort of cencorship. I think researchers, moviemakers etc. should be able to use those symbols in their work, but skinheads and other arsewipes should be stopped from using nazi symbols. Though, I'll hail this one any day. winkx.gif PikkuHakaristi.jpg

Says everything positive we need to know about the Swastika. Hopefully one day it will finally show its true positive side to all of us. (hah I sound like a philosopher)

needs cencorship? aren't we adults? don't make europe another US! i'd rather have some rule of "Promoting nazism or racism is illegal" than "Using symbols associated with nazism is illegal, except if it used in this, this or this way".

It seems as though politicians rarely /think/ about who else they block out, who they inadvertently step on and get in the way for. they set themselves a goal, and then they accomplish that goal in the easiest way possible, whatever the cost. banning nazi-symbols=>looks like you're very anti-nazi=>Politically correct=>PR-boost=>more voters

Doesn't that come down to cencorship in the end. You can't just set a law that says: "Promoting nazism or racism is illegal." That's too vague. You need set some boundaries. And in this case, that would mean some kind of cencorship.

Making something illegal, just forces it underground. Just look at America during prohibition. It seems to me that the German representatives in the EU are trying to erase history. I don't think any extreme right political party will be voted into power in the future. It would be virtually impossible to re-create the situation that led to Hitler becoming Chancellor in 1933.
