This screenshot is from the Page of Rad's unfinished models, so I have no idea if this is what tank sights are going to look like in FH2. I hope this is not their final form, since the field of vision seems to be very narrow. Looks like you can see almost nothing from inside a tank. I truly hope that the aiming sight is zoomed in in this picture. If that is not the case, i'm afraid that driving a tank in FH2 will be a pain. If the visibility is next to nothing and there are no external views in FH2, are tanks going to be nerfed to the point where they are absolutely worthless?

As i understand it, there is going to be some sort of tank commander view which is supposed to give you a real-feeling ability to look around the tank as you drive. You would only switch to gun sight when you had an enemy lined up. If this is the case, then it looks fine to me.

I think that sight is just perfect. Tanks will need infantry to cover their sides. Lonewolwes can't dominate the map with their tanks! Teamwork ftw! :)

ahem... "Note: Please never ever bug the FH devs about any of the models shown on this page. It's entirely up to them if they want to use the models or not. It's also up to them if they have time, or places on the maps for the models. It may simply be that they do not have the man power to complete the mess I've left them with. " -Also found on Rad's Page... I know its hard to read boring-old words when there are such pretty pictures all around, but... you know... it helps sometimes to take a moment... and... you know... read.

PR's system is good. A driver with a decent field of view (eg: That tank sight image). A gunner with limited veiw and a commander/top machine gunner with a good albeit exposed field of veiw.

Thats the whole point of a tank, they're armoured..have immense firepower but it's main weaknesses are agility and field of view.

What I would really really really really <3 <3 <3 xoxoxo to see in FH2 is ... ... actual tank gunsight markings EXPLAINED.

I.e. not just decorative.

"shell drop is so and so many degrees, and over x meters, lining up a target with this particular mark makes the shell hit." "The machine gun shoots here." "at 100m, at a straight and level shot, the shell will hit at this mark." Etc.

Not just "try it and figure out for yourself."

And it's not there for no reason. The current FH2 internal is not even using these tanksights, they're just test-prototypes.
