BAMare you going there with your family :)?
No they don't want to come, I live in Newcastle, so a long trip south to see "some old relics" is not their cup of tea.
Might sound stupid coming from a brit, and I should know this stuff...but where the hell is Bovington anyway?

Never was the quickest in my Geography class :D
hehehe, may 23rd is my birthday. cool.
Wait wait wait.... the tiger I doing manoeuvres? O.O
Tempting to go and see it.
I'll be there... look for the 13 year old kid taking photos of everything with his immensely tall father and possibly a fat bloke and a hippy short woman.
Mmmm... Tiger I in motion... I went there last week, saw them cramming a new engine inside.
Struth, I'm Australian and I know where it is. Then again I do occassionally contact David Fletcher @ Bovington to get info on WWII armour. One must go where the knowledge is.
If you do go to the Fest, taking a camera is good but a video is ideal. With the Vid you can record sound samples of everything. You might even be able to ask if you can get some really specific sounds like turret traverse, gun elevation, ammo loading and breach operation. The real thing from the real thing.
If enough people go, it might be good to actually *meet* each other. As horrific a prospect as that is.
