Seeing as no one seems to have commented on them I will: Take a look at these 3 pics: Every Video option @ lowest: Optics+20.JPG Every Video option @ medium: Optics+60.JPG Every Video option @ highest: Optics+100.JPG Now clearly the guy with the fastest computer clearly has the advantage as he/she has much clear sights, so targeting tanks esp at long ranges is much easier than the guy with a average computer with the settings at medium or low. I mean take a look at it the guy with the fat ass lines has no idea where the 'true' centre of the sights are but the guy with the fast computer does - an unfair advantage. Theres not to much difference between Lowest and Medium but a huge difference between Medium and Highest. So it basically the better computer you have, the easier tanking will be to you as you will have much better optics. Now this to me is unfair because optics should be the same regardless of your video settings. I mean the optics are hardly really complex multi textured images, so why can't they be made clear on all video options? It would help balance the game too :) :feedback:

you want tank sights, and when you get them you complain about it

its not possible to do it clearer, we allready used some secret technologies to get it that clear .... if you look at non-fh tanksights you'll see that they're even unfair in the highest option...

yes it would be possible to make it clear+with all settings, but than it would lag on the lowend pcs, you like lag more than unsharp sights?

I'm not complaining I love the Optics, I'm merely making a suggestion.

It's rather simple, don't give the DDS files any mipmaps. Problem fixed :)

(in-game minimaps are also DDS files, and most maps have it without mipmaps, but zielona gora doesn't. You can't see a thing on that map when you've got textures to 20%)

I just found out they're not DDS files but TGA files, so no mip maps. Might it not be a good idea to use DDS files, or wouldn't that work?

i think its in most games that people with better comps are a little bit advantaged in some kind. in bf:fh its the tanksights and the view distance which differs from settings to settings. btw, here is my crosshair, its a bit clearer cause of AA: optics.jpg but did u looked at the german zeiss optic ? they got these little triangles and they are very ugly eith low detail, and makes aiming much more difficult than these american optics. but if thats true what lightning said, its easy to fix and everybody will be happy, cause these optics just rule :) edit: just read lightnings second post: hmm then i hope d_fast has a good solution, or else some people have to buy better hardware :D

Before you guys get all worked up, or the devs do unnessesary work, how many players actually play in medium or low setting ?

Most graphics cards that are no older then 2 years can pull FH on high settings easy, if you run without hardare AA. Even with AA on a low setting, like 2x older cards run FH fine.

I am in doubt how many FH players really got old systems, older then 2 years. These guys should reconsider if they want PC gaming as a hobby anyway....
