F.E.A.R. scared the hell out of me the first two times I played it :)
Return to Castle Wolfenstein scared me the infinite times I have played it...well, and other feelings, yum, those uber SS gals
So you say that we need a zombie pickup-kit in FH2 to get the fearfactor going? Hmm...I can see it now. When you use the zombie pick-up kit it doesn't matter if you get blown apart. All the different parts of your body becomes vehicles which you can switch between and control.
My scariest gamingexperience has to be DOOM I guess. When the babies with wings starting showing up that´s about when I said ok, I can't do this anymore. Children in horrormovies are the only thing that really scares the living **** out of me.
i dont think in real life, it was so much a case of fear, as just plain wise caution, when it came to a tank been in the vicinity. im sure when you're been fired apon, it was frightening. but just because a tank was in a village nearby, i doubt that would "frighten" a soldier. they were probably more concerned than frightened, and justifibly so. i mean i know there are bears in the woods, but that doesnt quote frighten me, however it does concern me, if i happen to be going near the bush. sound wise though, i would like to experience a "saving private ryan" kind of experience, when a tiger or heavy tank is approaching. with the treads clanking, and the ground slightly shaking and so on. still wouldnt frighten me though lol

Indeed. Wolfenstein was great spooky fun, including bloodthirsty SS gymnast she-wolves, wearing sprayed on latex-like leather, with bodies modeled in so sexually a, uh, hyperbolic fashion, they bordered on porn.
Wolfenstein was pretty scary though. I loved the game though since a lot of evil games like Resident Evil are pretty entertaining. They make you think which is why they are pretty popular. As for a FH and a zombie kit, wrong mod lol I dont think it would be any good lol. We already have enough trouble killing the opposite side so why have to deal with zombies. I mean how many zombies did someone see in world war 2?
I think that the Tank now in FH is a lame duck, its almost as bad as V1.0 vanilla BF1942, where every infantryman could take out a tank with nades. Now nearly every one I come up against is either an engineer or zookaman. The fear factor should be a case of get the hell away from the thing! Btw I've heard the Tiger run at Bovington and the engine sounds just like any other high horsepower engine, more like a big rig engine or big lorry engine. The sound you do notice is the creaking of the tracks and suspension. You may want a throaty deep roaring engine noise, but it never was!
So the solution is obvious. Zombie tanks. They should spawn out of dark corners when ever a player passes by and make demonic sounds before pelting them with skull shaped HE rounds. :spell: :tank:
Or Borg tanks! :assimilate:
Tanks need to very strong, even light tanks to a extent. I don't like the fact that you can blow up a tank with grenades, but in real life if you threw grenades at a Tiger tank it would not do anything to it. Tanks need to be feared like they are in real life. Now with destructable objects, FH will be a lot better. I mean you guys can make it so you can blast a hole in the side of a building, there is a mission in Day of Defeat in which you can do that but, you throw a grenade at it instead.
Have you played Fh yet?
