God, I wish we could have music like in Vietnam, like Jazz Music in the geep and the B-24 and 17 Series.

I want a small selection to be honest, a mix of Jazz, Classical Instrumental and Patro songs. Something that'd put me in the mood for Vintage Warfare.

SungodWhy is everyone always so opposed to taking whats left there? For example...if you cap a flag, but an enemy tank is sitting there from when they owned it last, now youre telling me I cant take the tank? Its still a game after all. I understand not being able to take a battleship, or aircraft carrier... but a tank/jeep/AA, seems like it should be fair GAME, yes because its still just a game.

Well I think stealing jeeps and bikes and lorries would be okay, but stealing a tank or plane I think starts getting a little far-fetched I guess. Then again I've never driven a tank so dunno how easy it is to pick up. On Iwo Jima, the allies can't get into some of the axis bunkers so that is definitely possible.

My problem isn't as much with this happening, but with the n00bs driving a King Tiger / IS-2 / Tiger / enterasupertankhere to the enemy lines and then bailing out after being hit by machine gun fire, if even that  That's an excellent game ruiner on maps like Berlin Outskirts and Berlin.

Personally I would rather have uncapturable vehicles. But each to his own, and I don't think they'll be made that way, so I'll just have to cope with it :)

I'd say a jeep, truck, motorbike, even an APC can be stealable (After all, a car is a car regardless of what country you go to). Artillery also. Tanks and planes though...no way. The simple fact of the matter is all of the instruments would be in their foreign language in different locations, so you don't know what is what. Both pieces of machinery are too complex to just have some guy jump in a tank he might never have even seen before and steer it like a pro. Then again, it's also not realistic to have a Tiger tank driver also operating the turret and a MG. But this might also be a technical impossibility. As mentioned earlier in this thread, you can mark vehicles as usable by all or only the original team. If that's the case, then it doesn't differenciate by vehicle type. You can either steal it or not, not "Yes if jeep, no if tank".

A 128 (or better yet, 256) player server to rock some of those humungous maps.. :D

I can't wait until these guys start releasing games that have those capabilities (that aren't PlanetSide).

how is the auto-piloted aircraft going? IE: c-47s piloted by AI, while there are 12 positions (6+6 from 2 "invisible" vehicles that are stationary on the C-47, ive seen it done before from somewhere in FH) for a stick of paratroopers to jump out over Normandy where the fog is taken away so that we can watch the battle unfold from 500 ft in the air, with AA guns firing like crazy and "cloud" objects, located up in the air with the planes, to add to the eye candy... Operation Neptune would be crazy if all that was possible... Anway, hows the AI-controlled vehicles coming along in games such as conquest (non-coop games)?...sorry for the run-on sentence :coffee:

DriverI know many people said tunnels were impossible but EoD did it. :D

same system we're useing for trenches - no its not impossible, but for big tunnel complexes its just laggy + since bf collision callculation is not exact enough, you sometimes just went "trough" the tunnel
