Nah, don't worry about it man. =)
Just enjoy the mod and keep the money.
Seriously guys, set up an account. I feel bad getting so much play time out of a free game.
I wonder how the devs must feel knowing that soo many people download and enjoy their creation; play it religiously singleplayer or multiplayer or have clan nights with friends or daydream about FH while at work sometimes (personal fav) or take part in large online competitions like BFE WaW or boast about it in other online forums, it goes on & on. Do we know roughly how many times FH has been downloaded? Or how big the community really is? Seriously you guys have got alot to be proud of. :salute::bows:
Wow, very generous offers!
I don't think we got into it for the money tho. We got into if for the chicks! Those FH groupies are HOT! Anyway, I have to settle for the next best thing because I want to stay married. (no groupies here)... I do it for the kudo's. It makes it all worth it.
Besides the fact that we arn't "allowed" to make any money from the mod :(

Yes, but surely you have testing infrastructure, servers, etc. to cover, no? Why not designate someone as "accountant", start a non-profit organization, and do it like that? After all, it's a non-profit's (or private club's) own business (within limits, depends on the various countries' tax circumstances) how they cover their costs, isn't it?
I think it's a little bit more complicated than just setting up a paypal account and get money. There are some legal problems that would occur, I am no expert but from what I understood, it would be quite difficult.
Really sorry because no contribution is possible. Usually I download freeware programs and, if they are really good and I use them often, I send some money to the devs. I respect the work of people allowing me to have a more performant PC or giving me a great game to play such as FH.
A donation isn't made because YOU want to raise money, it's a sign of MY appreciation and respect for the time and energy you invest.
If not possible, ok, I'll offer you a virtual beer.
Old thread is old. And dusty.
