I was just checking out your site. I love you're taste in movies. the 2 movies I worked on at ILM are in your short favorites list... "The Abyss" and "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade". I worked in the modelling hanger at nights working on detailing graphics, insignias, etc for the 1/4 scale versions of the minisubs for Abyss and Bi-plane for Last Crusades. This was back in 1988 before computer animation became the norm for special effects... lol, the good'ol days :P
Wow, are you kidding me? I absolutely loved the miniature subs in that movie, they look simply awesome with all those little details and lights. And the plane sequence of Last Crusade is one of my favorite! And yeah, CGI is overrated, gimme shoddy blue screening, matte seams and choppy stop-motion anytime!
Your Kubel and Pz3 are two of my personal FH favorites, I love the tiny details and the crisp textures. :)
I am considering selling prints of my works some time, if that ever happens I'll let you know and send you one. :)
wow Rad, i had no idea you were involved with Indian Jones and The Last Crusade, one of my top ten favorite movies of all time! Nothing beats Sean Connery as a crazy old treasure hunter mixed in with a WWII setting and great action scenes. Did you get to meet any of the actors?
