..that firing delay for AT weapons seems to me to be an EXCELLENT solution.. It seems more possible than fixing the aim bug, so you just more or less rid of the Xhair closing time.
Run around with pistol, see a tank, pull out AT, hold fire for 3-4 seconds, fires. hmmm, sounds good, only glitch I see is that standing, crouching, or prone will not effect whatsoever how fast you can fire the weapon.. maybe there is some sort of solution for that. If not, it's not so bad to live with.
Firing delay... maybe. It might work, if it could be made to only apply to the first shot. But even better would be the enter-exit-vehicle delay I a bit ouf of context mentioned above (didn't notice the second page at all that's why it seems out of place). Would prevent people from jumping out of planes before I can finish blowing their planes up ;)
Anyway, can't wait for 0.62 to come out and see what has been done to the AT weapons, and aircraft and all the other stuff (Kursk maps, yay!) too.
My two cents - do any of you fire weapons, go hunting? You should not be penalized for an intial sighting (of any weapon) if you are in a stationary position. You raise the weapon, find the target and pull the trigger. It doesn't take as long as is currently depicted in the game. What should affect shooting is positional movement and recoil ONLY and frankly, if you where sighted in on a target, movement would not matter that much only recoil. If the long sighting of AT weapons is to represent a "charging" of the projectile, then I would suggest a separate step to do so (if possible). No one in their right mind would prepare a weapon out in the open but do so prior to positioning themself for firing. Someone coming out of a tank or vehicle would have to "prepare" their weapon. I don't know if this is possible coding wise but it would be sweet because At men would prepare and then quickly fire which seems to be more realistic. Please leave the knives. They do have their place on the battlefield for those not scared to use them. :)

God, am I the only one that DID NOT KNOW THIS BUG? No wonder I only killed like 3 tanks ever since the patch came out and people were shooting me like crazy in some days.
HMmm... It would suck so bad to have a tiger come barreling by you and fire at it only to wait 3-4 seconds before the gun fires... Thats retarted, I highly doubt anything like that happened in real life...
Actually we started warning people recently about using this bug at wolf now that more know about it. Keep doing it and find somewhere else to play.
It's an exploit no matter how you look at it. No point in even arguing against it. The BAR and MGs are not supposed to be instantly accurate. That is not how we made them so we'll help stop it. If we see someone running around heavily using this we will take action.
I bet someone's bound to complain about this but guess what? If you don't like the rule then just don't play in the server. ;)

AT soldiers need a knife esspicially if you want to give the PIAT class a fighting chance... or unless the devs decide to bring back the 0.5 No.2 Hand cannon...
BAMthe game you are thinking about is MDK wich stands for Max,Doctor,Kurt (i think) SDK stands for Software Development Kit and the only way to solve it is to give the AT guy only the AT weapon and that would suck ..

It's a bug in the game, nothing can be done about it, leave with it.
