What do you think is the best features, emprovements, or additions that make FH better than vanilla BF. I dont want a simple "FH is more realistic" I want to know why, and how, if you have somthing, please go into a little deapth and explain why this mod is so great.

Well the realism for one, good marksmanship is rewarded in FH. I used and still Master the No4 and K98 in vanilla, and was able to snipe people with those rifles without a damn scope. But a Hit didnt kill if it wasnt a headshot, you could even hit some-one trice without a kill. By then the bunnyhopping thompson/stg44 gunners would have gotten me by spraying thier guns into me at point blank. Secondly, MG fire keeps you pinned. In vanilla you are like "lemmy toss that nade around the corner even tho there is a "MG gunner back there that is going to open up on me". Because you know you wont get killed. In FH you are more like "crap crap crap, im dead meat" And then there are the vehicles, more then two tanks for the allies m10 and the sherman :P

well so many things... First of all the fact is you need to work in team if you want to be effective,(as a squadron) you need to make coordinate strike if you want to win. playing as a lone wolf or a local Rambo and you'll die alone..and if the whole team is playing as this then.. they'll all lose. (and they will also miss the core of this mod) THAT's is really great. I'm very glad that the parachutes have disapear for let the Pilots' kit appear, It changes the tactics of all those nweebies who just take a plane for jump above an ennemy base and stole a tank or something else to catch the base (it's still in use i agree but much less that a DC or BF42) For the tanks it's also so great that you've to swith the view and use the special scope for fire it's also smth which helps to dive into a realistic atmosphere. The maps.. the maps are simply amazing (most part of time) they did such an amazing work on them as for Arnheim and many others, Charlie sector is also a wonderful work the 1st time i tried each map i was thinking but wow they did those map as professional i was speechless. Atlantic is also an excellent map we usually play it in lan as often it lags but when you can this map is too grea, it was an excellent idea to add a naval battle The texture, they're so well made that it's the final touch to dive you into an amazing mod! They also did such an amazing work on the vehicules, so many tanks and other stuff that you only saw into military books about WWII or documentary, and I'm still discovering stuff!! recently i found those kind of skidoo (snowmobile) in a russians map (was the 1st time i played it) and often you've to check if there's not a mutlipurpose i mean when you're using the AA on a Battleship if you just press the right' mouse button and not both of them you just exploit the half capacity.. then it's true for many things, The Stug can be use as a scout for artillery, recently i learnt how to use the truck with the Flak. This mod is source of constant surprise. Well it's the mix of all those ingredients which give this amazing recipe that Forgotten Hope is. The mix of Realism+Gameplay+Vehicules/weapons+Maps+texture = The Mod of the Century. I could write so much about it but my english is too bad and i don't to write a novel about it then: Yes the mod isn't perfect but you can say what you want it's actually the best, even if there's some little details which should be fixed. The only thing you need now to have the best experience that you ever had, it's to be lucky to play with good team mate and then you'll understand what a mean ;) Thanks for all to the FH devs

Best thing about FH is that you can't be a smacktard easily. You can't abuse things that realistically couldn't happen (with the exception of enginieers) and your life is easily taken.

Tank shells kill. MGs kill. Its easy to kill and easy to die, so it changes the entire dynamic of gameplay.

Heh... Good one :D ... The reason I like FH is that there is nothing better 'cause this mod alredy has so much. I like how there are things that are more realistic than in other games. I like how KT really is the king of the battlefield. I like how they don't even try to balance everything so that every gun would be equal. I like how the expacks are removed in next version ;) . And most of all: I love every single infantry AT gun in the game :nodding: .

the maps, theyre the most beautiful maps ever done in a mod. and the realistic loadouts, like the americans get their own weapons and not enfields, and russians get their own weapons. only bad part, still uses DICE maps. cmon i want a realistic BotB!
