I know this has been discussed some times, but i couldnt get a clear statement of whats gonna happen with this in the old threads. The for me is, that there have been 394 (or something) sherman jumbos built, in comparison to 1500 tigers, 500 kingtigers. Now if you take Caen for examle, the germans have panthers, stugs and Pz 4s while the allied have (or get within the game) SHERmans, sextons, Sherman 105, M36 AND a sherman jumbo. Now that there is even a tiger on the loading screen i would like to get one in the map. IMO there are anyway to many sherman jumbos around in FH maps. More than 40000 common shermans have been built, so you can see yourself, how many sherman jumbos should be in FH maps. :feedback:

There's a Sherman Jumbo on about, what? 3 maps?

That's more than enough. Dont add any more and dont take any away. If anything, the amount of Tigers and King Tigers in World War II games is over-exaggerated.

Caen is a complete mess. It used to be fun, but now it's just terrible. I dont think it's even worth touching now.

Pretty much agree with NCOL here. There is exactly the same 'issue' with tigers, kingtigers etc. on the axis side. Either way, there is no proper way to accurately represent the amount of vehicles and certain battles with the amount of players in Battlefield. If we were to have the accurage numbers of vehicles at battles but also make sure that there isn't too many vehicles for the map, there will usually just be 1 or 2 vehicle types for each side which would not only be boring but would also spoil the general feel of Forgotten Hope with its large and varied set of vehicles. Personally I feel that as long as there aren't Jumbos on every single American Western Europe map, it's fine.

I think mp5 is right, the sherman jumbo gives a good variation, so you dont need to always drive a standard sherman.

It's not even a real enemy.

If you're a decent enough tanker, then a Jumbo should not be a problem. Even if you're in a Panzer IVH or Stug IIIG.

Caen in general, I think all of us agree here, is a map which needs much improvement. The jumbo being one of the numerous issues.

Caen is a very fun map when allieds are not basecamped at start by german tanks, so IMHO the jumbo is not the problem, it's the solution, be aware that in 0.7 the jumbo will spawn from start, not like in 0.67 where allieds need to cap a flag to get it
