They sure are the only things that can destroy them on gazala, together with the gabelte ladungs. If they didn't have them there, the only way to take out a matilda or valentine would be crashing into it with the spotter plane, or driving up to it and laying a bomb. The latter nearly impossible.
Well that still doesn't explain why they should get 7 of them...
Well avoiding to start a heavy conversation about what is good and bad. I think everybody has his taste of what is moddeled as good and bad, and of course we should not forget who writes history and determines whats a good weapon and what not. The Matilda and Valentine tanks could in reality rarely be destroyed by german tanks, they were picked down by 88s and Stukas to inform on how they were destroyed in historically. Well, this will later be an issue when you introduce superior tanks like the T-34 or KV-1s against german obsolete PZIII and PZIV since they couldnt harm them efficiently. But lets see how that goes. And, well, do a poll and you will easily see at what people get frustrated. I am sure tanks and planes will be in the lead. However, I dont know how you should reach to them since they rarely play FH2.
I don't see the frustration at all when a sherman or crusader 3 will 1shot1kill any german tank present at the moment, but the upcoming tiger

For the panzer4 f1 it takes about 7 of them to destroy the matilda.
Besides, British tanks really aren't that bad. The early war ones might be a bit weaker, but they're susposed to be. Also, keep in mind they have two intended roles, some are tank destroyers, others are for infantry support. German tanks are more all rounders, however the shorter barreled ones are better used for infantry support. Brits also got better planes though, and better AT weapons. So it kinda balances out. But tank on tank Germans were a lot better, so FH2 does a good job at recreating this. On Aberdeen for example, keeping the crusaders in motion is vital for their survival.
I can see how some people have a problem with the HEAT and pzgr40, I usually don't manage to use up those shells before dying, unless I camp. So ingame, Germany can technically fire 90% HEAT and panzergrenades, while all the other ammo is destroyed before being put to use.
On later maps like El Alamein and Mareth Line, the Shermans really make a difference. They're armor is better then the pz4f2 and can one shot every single German tank currently ingame. On El Alamein and Mareth, the Brits have better tanks. And I doubt even the Tiger will change that.
The Crusader Mk. 3 is a force to be reckoned with. It is just as powerfully armed as the Sherman, but trades better armor for much better speed and a lower profile. A couple of these babies can really tear up the Axis armor on maps like supercharge.
My favorite tank in the game is the crusader mk3. Its stealthy and also packs a good punch as a bonus.
My fav tank in FH2 is the Tiger...... wait what?
Nah, the Carro Armato, the one in Bardia is my Fav so far
I rarely use the Panzergranaten because the normal AP rounds do the job just as well against Shermans and Crusaders. If I happen to stumble upon a Matilda or Valentine, I switch to the PzGr. Using up all your good ammo on Shermans etc. is just a waste of good ammo.
