Lemme say thanks to the dev for releasing .66 and all the effort they put into making this great mod....however, about the New Camoflauged Stug III in FH .66 is kinda , well "messed up". The branchs used to cover the front upper hull of the Stug IIIg.....

a: covers the right half of the drivers view port. (makes it harder to see enemies tanks now on your right) b: covers the the gun sight for the main gun. (makes it harder to shoot at enemy tanks.. c: covers the view from the commanders coupla. (makes this new feature useles..)

It makes the Stug III g harder to use than before.....it might be a good idea to fix in the next release..

Also, would it be possible to make it so you can drive the stug from the coupla view?

I think they'll change it eventually. As nice as it is to see the mod team attempt to add bushes and extra things to a tank this was a poor job, it's actually harder to use a StuG3G in an ambush because you more often or not bump into an enemy tank because you cant see where you're going. When something like that happens you know it's not right.

i donk know HOW this is suposed to work..how anybody could think it is good and working.. tried using this baby and found myself ambushed while trying to actually ambush somebody else.. rear-ext. view is helpfull, but only for driving.. not for target spotting..

good idea, very, very bad implementation :/ germans end with one less tank on each map this stug is used, simply everybody get in, and get out after few meters

And trhe top Mg became useless aswell because now you can't see shit when you're behind it. So now you'll have more trouble with infantry too

One thing I'd like to point out, though, is that it might be cool to add cupola positions to tanks for future releases, which would allow movement and vision while driving. Not sure if I'd make the player able to fire from that position, though it might be ok if you were really exposed to small-arms fire when driving in that position (as opposed to the more secure, but harder to aim buttoned-up position inside the tank).

It's called F10

Use in conjunction with F9, F11 and F12 to have 360 degree vision of the battlefield.

That's precisely what I love about it... it obscures vision but you can still see gun smoke through it. Track the bearings of the smoke and terminate with extreme prejudice

It isn't new, it was in 0.65 already (yes i mean the ability to set a atilery cam also).

Yep another reason why the Stug makes me happy
