Could this plane's "armour" stop small arms fire?

Acomba MikeThis may well have been answered already, but is smoke actually possible, or if it is, is it feasible fps-wise with FH's already demanding specs? Thinking about it, if it is possible, it would be a very good idea to confine it to scout planes, and not have many of them around. There'd be nothing worse than some bastard flying around like a crop duster giving everyone more lag than the Prince of Wales. Perhaps give it a really long reload time? Course, I've not seen a dev comment on smoke in this thread at least, although they might have already said they need the sdk somewhere else. O' course, it'd work with BF:V (;)) but failing that, is it do-able?

Well they did it very well in XWWII [King Tiger has smoke grenades useable from the top hatch]... I think the reason smoke brings so much slowdown and lag is the fact that it isn't optimised rather than anything else...

yah, i think that the L4 (and storch) should have like 10 smoke bombs that stay for awhile, then go out, that way you could tell tankers where the enemy is. also, if you are going to make it so that you can call in arty strikers from off map (like eod SR-71) i would say either make that the second position, or make smoke nade secondary. just an idea....
