Preparation for our next FH2 campaign are at the finishing stage and soon we will be able to present you something new.

We've seen a lot of posts about people being tired of the desert, now it's your chance, because on next campaign in the Forgotten Honor Tournament is going to invade:

adv_camp3_3_2.jpg
To those who don't anything about Forgotten Honor Tournament, here is a short description of what we are all about. Each week on Friday night we play a World War II scenario. The sides of the conflict are organized in two 32 player teams with command structure based on actual WW2 units. No clan play experience is needed and everything is completely free. You just come and we give you Forgotten Hope on the organized level.
At first we thought about making a whole campaign about Greece and Crete, but then we heard about the new patch coming. It would be a shame not to use all those new toys, so we will extend the time line. From Greece we will go to Crete and then it will all end with some tiger hunting in Tunis.
This project we are doing the FH way. Each map is made up of hours of historical background digging, balancing discussions, testing and of course loads of hours of development.
Don't go anywhere and make sure you don't miss this!
To sweet up the wait here is a short movie featuring a training map we will play before the campaign starts:

I think you have the same problem there like the guy who made the tobruk and mersa matruh night maps. everything´s dark but the vehicles look like it´s midday.

Try to darken your groundhemi in photoshop (groundhemi.dds) and play around with skycolor, sunColor and sunSpecColor in lightsettings then you should be able to get darker vehicles and soldiers.

Thats because shaders suck in BF2. Coder gods could fix that I guess. Does Hyacinth also got this problem or not? Maybe it's the graphics settings?

uh.. shaders in BF2 are made in 2004-2005, they are ok..

in this video there are some settings that are incorrect, its not the settings from Hyacinth, the map the sky texture is from...

But this is minor tweak, takes 30sec to fix... actually its ok that it is like that in the video, otherwise you wouldnt see anything.

All Forgotten Honor maps have correct settings so don't worry about that.

Join the campaign, and have fun

Ts4EVER;4567965Hope you´ll release a mappack.

In the future we will release some stuff just like we did with the FHT mod for FH1. But for now to enjoy these crazy beautiful maps you need to be part of the tournament.

maps are ok and beautiful.

But what's the most important for me is to feel the passion and the energy of other players who like to recreate as real envoirement as possible. To enjoy speaking on TS with your mates, to be able to fight like an heroe at least for one night, to write history. That's why I joined 1st campaign and I stayed because I found what I looked for.

besides, FHT has an advanced web software which offers you detailed stats such as rank system, medals in your profile or a campaign history file for each player. Also you can find mature officers and a Polish or French speaken units, all coordinated with professional mappers, professional graphic designers and professional web coders. We are always first! we keep innovating everyday.

You choose, but remember, a community is build by people, and you can be one piece of a great growing community.
