Here's a nice list of Canadian battles: Canada at War - Page: WWII: Index of Battles

Also, player why the quote of Stalin?

Dekkuune;4453095I'm voting Russia for some PPsH action ^_^

But I would just like to see Caen with the Canadians again though. Even though pretty much all the weapons and vehicles would be British or American anyway, I just want to see a remake of the BF1942/FH1 map in FH2.

Canadian war factories were safe from bombing. Canada became an arsenal, and was Britain’s chief overseas supplier of war materiel. Canada did not accept American Lend-Lease aid. Actually Canada ran its own lend-lease program for its allies called "Mutual Aid", supplying its allies with four billion dollars worth of war materiel. A further credit of a billion dollars was given to Britain.

I'm sorry, who was supplying whom now?:p Canada at War - Page: WWII: Canadian War Industry

Indeed, the French eventually received a substantial number of Canadian uniforms via the Canadian lend-lease. These Canadian uniforms were used as the basis for the new 1944 model French uniforms, although they were usually worn as walking-out dress rather than for battle.

True :nodding: But still I believe what the quote says, even if it is from a muderous tyrant

Just like any of the tyrants throughout history, he probably just wanted the best for his own people at the cost of other's people.

But instead cut his own people off from adequate food, shelter, clothing, water, etc

Aside from Juno and the few missions that followed like Caen, there weren't many major Canadian offensives in Normandy. Dieppe is also a viable option. The devs could make a beach map without having to leave everyone with the taste of the same old overdone D-Day landings. :)

But like I said, Canadians used mostly British and American equipment anyway and whatever differences shouldn't make a substantial difference in the models used. Stens, Enfields, Brens, and Shermans and Thompsons.

And if we end up getting Juno as a map (I'm hoping ^_^), then we'll have another excuse to have bikes on a map. :D

Yeah sure they'd be easy to get ingame. Thats not the problem though, the problem is player models, animations, voices, etc. It can drain a lot of time which the FH devs could use to make something better. I'd rather have a 2 month earlier Pacific Front then seeing Canadians in Normandy. For BF1942, Dice already created the Canadians for FH2, in the 1.6 patch.
