thats realy strange.

a map where the allies dont have an obvious and significant advantage, how could that happen!?

well, i guess you have to be satisfied with a 30sec beaufighter spawntime on mareth, a maze-trapped tiger, extra 6 pounder crusaders on el al, removed flakvierlings, locked bofors, crappy stukas, etcetc...

seeing the last releases in terms of balancing, my concern is that the game might have to be renamen into "forgotten axis hope 2" sometime soon.

The germans had an advantage in Quality material in late war, even as late as 1945

It's a good map, I've seen it go both ways. Only problem is if the germans 'do' out play the brits at the begining it can turn into a grenade spam fast, but if the brits are smart enough to use their smokes then they can get out of that easily enough

Eh. I've been playing on your server pretty much since the release of the recent patch so I'm not sure what leads you to believe the stuka is crappy. Next time someone has 60+ kills on 14ish deaths in it i'll remind you to tell me why it sucks.

I can agree with you on the pre-nerfed tiger but the rest all makes sense from a game play point of view. Locked bofors..? You have got to be kidding me if you think the axis on say tobruk should have access to those things so they can totally rape the second defensive line. You might as well ask Lobo to redesign the map without those flags.

I believe to be the game to be balanced fairly for the most part no matter how badly the germans got "nerfed'.

sometimes smoke works, but the Axis could spam MG34 and probably grenade into the smoke and kill a bunch first...

Tunis is fun as Brits. Pick up a No.4 Sniper, sneak behind their lines (needs a smoke grenade and some tactical insight) get a good spot and snipe all the guys who are waiting around the corner for Brits.

it's easy if you are privaledged enough to be on a server that uses teamwork, there is an opportunity for the British to conduct a classic pincer* on each flag except the last one. as is mentioned here before, you need your squad leader to be a real squad leader and hold up somewhere so you can do all the fighting, you won't get anywhere in the Tunis world if you run about trying to take flags head on in ones and twos.

here come the nades!

*or the raptor approach - one squad take fire face on- one squad swing round and flank the lot of them

Just equipt the British grenade launcher and let Jerry's have it. They tend to cluster around areas with a view of the first flag. One good launched grenade(British) can take out a squad.

Smoke, frag and rush is definitely the tactic for the brits on this map. The last flag is probably too hard though, I've never seen it happen even with all the el1te players playing allies.
