FactionReconI really think that tanks should overall be adjusted to show how large, cumbersome, and scary they really were. Like some post up top said, they need to be a bit slow, but strong to compensate. Right now we've got tanks scooting all over the place. I like the Matilda 2 for this. It's quite slow, which is apparently realistic, but very strong. Now I'm not saying "make every tank like the Matilda 2" but I think tanks need to be rescaled in terms of importance. Right now they are merely infantry "cars" with guns on top.

Yes make the tanks everywhere slower. Make their sound that loud that it alsmost destroys your headset and make em as big as a house. Make them need 20 minutes to turn 360degrees So the germans will be scared from any Sherman Jumbo. Even their fausts will fly away instead of taking the tank out in 1 shot and since there are only germans with fausts you will have a cool effect of running away fausts:uhh:

My biggest problem with tanks is the engines and the physics. They flip over FAR too easily, and many tanks simply can not climb hills. This makes the point of having tracks on the tank moot and eliminates one of their main advantages.

If the team has to move the wheelbase around to get it to work, that's fine with me. I think tanks (especially the Panzer II) should easily be able to climb hills and not slide around all over the place. More Horsepower on FH tanks! Lower center of gravity so they dont flip over as much!

As for the proliferation of AT infantry, its like this: Shermans outnumbered Tigers 10 to 1 (roughly). There were TONS of allied tanks. Thus, 16 members of a 20 person team having Fausts isn't all that unheard of (The reich did produce several hundred thousand fausts). The FH team just needs to add a LOT MORE ALLIED TANKS. MORE SHERMANS in particular. 1 or 2 per map is not at all representative of their numbers and unlimited axis AT class would call for such a thing, and would be fair if the numbers of Shermans were represented correctly.

i think the tanks are just slightly to slow, i realize the speeds have been scaled, but some tanks move like slugs. with zero chance of manuvering off a road, and avoiding a "planes bomb" for instance. or at least partially avoiding it. im not saying a huge increase in speed, but they seem slightly too slow to me. this would make them "not so easy" fodder, for both AT'ers and planes. tank battling is one of my favorite things in fh but, i would like atleast a chance of avoiding that stuka i see coming.

millions, even. in excess of 8 million, and 2.5 million rounds for the panzerschreck.
